Paul Dominion Ladi is an entrepreneur, business development consultant, and the founder and CEO of LADX, a tech startup launched in March 2024 to transform the logistics sector in Africa. Her company addresses the major pain point of costly international parcel delivery by connecting travellers with individuals who want to send packages across borders. This crowdsourced logistics model allows users to save up on shipping costs compared to traditional courier services, while also allowing travelers to monetise unused luggage space.
The idea behind LADX
The idea behind LADX wasn’t born in a boardroom but from personal experience. After losing her father, Ladi grew up watching her mother struggle to provide for six children with limited resources. That early exposure to hardship shaped her drive for financial independence and ignited her passion for entrepreneurship.
She started working at a young age to support her family, eventually rising to leadership in sales and network marketing. At Alliance In Motion Global, she built and managed a team of over 3,000 distributors, generating more than $600,000 in revenue. She also delivered over 1,000 business presentations and became known for her ability to lead, coach, and inspire.
LADX is built as a platform for empowerment. The company has helped many small businesses achieve more profit and growth within four years through mentorship, coaching, and business development support. Ladi’s broader mission is to create up to 50,000 jobs in Africa by scaling ventures that solve problems and open economic doors.
How LADX works
The company operates as an international parcel delivery platform powered by tech and community. Travellers sign up, input their travel routes, and get matched with senders whose parcels need to go in the same direction. It is efficient, scalable, and significantly reduces delivery costs, especially for small businesses and individuals who can’t afford traditional shipping options. This model also decentralises logistics, making it more accessible and less dependent on expensive infrastructure.
Ladi’s work has gained continental recognition. She received the Youngest Rising Star Award before the age of 20 for her leadership and business growth, and LADX has been featured in innovation hubs like ALX Ventures and African Leadership University. These platforms have amplified her impact, allowing her to mentor even more young entrepreneurs and expand LADX’s reach across Africa.
She is also vocal about women’s participation in business, highlighting that no industry is out of reach for women with bold ideas.
