Alabi began her career in Nigeria’s financial sector, spending several years at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank). She holds a BSc in Accounting from Crawford University and is an Associate Chartered Accountant. After relocating to the United Kingdom, she earned an MSc in Financial Technology from the University of Stirling, graduating with distinction.
Her transition into entrepreneurship was inspired by her personal experience as an immigrant facing the challenges of job hunting in a new environment. Determined to change prevailing stereotypes that limit the career progression of immigrants, she launched RKY Careers to provide professional support and guidance for individuals seeking to advance in competitive industries.

RKY Careers operates as an EdTech-driven career development company. It offers services including career coaching, training bootcamps, and mentorship programmes designed to equip clients with practical skills and improve their employability. The company focuses on helping people gain clarity in their career paths and transition into roles across technology and related fields.
According to the company, it has supported over 1,500 professionals through various training and mentorship programmes. Its services range from CV and LinkedIn profile optimisation to interview preparation and technical skills training in areas such as project management, data analysis, and digital marketing.
